Does spark retard go down when correcting from 350 to 383?

Does spark retard go down when correcting from 350 to 383?
I just got my LT1 edit. I modified the PCM for the change from a 350 to 383 motor. The only obvious data change was that the spark retard went from occasional in the 350 configuration to 0 after I changed it to 383. Does this make sense? Any other changes that you recommend for my engine modifications in my signature?
