DO I NEED TO REPROGRAM THE COMP with this cam???

I have a 94 LT1 camaro. It has 1.6 Roller Rockers. COmp 612 Valve springs and new lifters
The cam thas in there is
224/236 .533/.544 on 1.6. IM having ruff idol problems and often like 80% of time it wont idol. The car is sluggish I dont think my rockers are adjusted right. SO i do i need a reprogram before I can get this motor right. im looking into LT1 Edit.

You are definitely going to need a reprogram. Don't bother with LT1 Edit, get Tunercat, it is cheaper and better by far. If you don't really know what you are doing when it comes to tuning, have Madwolf do it.

Sorry for the long wait on the reply, I work 3rd shift so I sleep during the day. Anyways, your HPP cables will not work. You'll need one from www.akmcables.com. Since you have a 94, you need the OBD1 connector type. Tunercat's website is www.tunercat.com. You will need the tuner program ($70) and the $EE definition file ($20) for LT1 engines. Then you'll need to spend quite a bit of time learning about how the tuning affects the engine. You can really damage the engine if you do the wrong thing, so I wouldn't try playing with anything really important (such as transmission tables and lowering the knock tables as 2 examples) before you feel you really know what you are doing.
