Differences between 94 and 95 LT1 programs?

I know there are some dfifferences between the two. What are the major ones? I am curious because of a knock sensor issue.

manual trans or auto,

the auto trans on a 94 is tcc-on/off
the auto trans on a 95 is pwm (pulse width modulated)

the knock sensors are the same

I was curious about the tranny. Knock sensor programming is different between the 2.

Long story short, on a 94 program, if the knock sensor is unplugged, it won't throw. 95's will. Just wondering is there was a programming differnce between the 2.

You are saying if you disconnect the knock sensor, it will not cause a trouble code? That makes no sense. The OBD diagnostics are the same. Sounds more like something is wrong (or altered) with the PCM.

Pretty much. Right now, the knock sensor wire is cut and am not throwing a code what so ever. The scan tool I have also says that the pcm is receiving a knock sensor signal. This is on a 94 program. I can put ANY program from a 95 in there and it throws a code 43 as expected.

I was truly curious because my knock sensor is super sensitive or something. I've got a big cam, heads, long tubes and all that but I can not keep the "knock" out of it. No it is not detonating at all. I was wondering for sure if maybe the 94 was a little more "touchy" than a 95.

Didn't some LT1's have (2) knock sensors? one on the left side of the block and one on the right side?

Yes, but not in an F-body.
