Didn't know this would work

I put a ODBI pcm into a 97 TA Car picked up 2mph at the track,

Car ran like a champ after i tuned the WOT, VE, and Misc,(EGR,EVAP,KNOCK)

PCM plugged right in, tuned it with tuner cat and a ODBII cable from AKM.

The old ODBII pcm was too rich, is was programmed for a cc306 with ported heads, which are not on the car yet. So to lean it out we just plugged in an old pcm out of a 94 auto Z. I leaned it out and the TA ran faster, not a bad quick fix

Sure does work but keep in mind you either have to put in an OBD1 knock sensor or add the resistor in the PCM to make it work....

NO i am saying that it did work and the car picked up two mph at the track.

I turned off all knock pull, so i dont have to have a resistor.

I wouldn't recomend trying this but just FYI it does work.
