I just got my diagnostic cable from mastach.com, and when i run datamaster w/o it hooked up 2 the car it says test passed blah blah, but when i hook it up 2 the car and run it it says Com lost... com sync recycling 1, 2, 3, 4 etc etc and doesnt read the car or anything, if anyone has some info on this please post back thanks

Are you going through the steps in Datamaster to set up your com port and such?

 

yep, com 1, datamaster wont let me select what Baud 8192 or 160 baud, i dont have a 160 baud input

 

I don't know that I have seen anything about selecting baud rate. Are you using the EE version? Are you sure that com port is the correct one for your connection?

 

ik but its hte com port thats not workign, u see when i go 2 scan the motor it says como port lost or w/e , ive tryed liek 5 programs all said com port was messed up or something

 

had brother type that for me while i was on the john, ... lol, it says that the connectio nwas lost, then it says "com sync recycle 1, com sync recycle 2, 3 4 5 etc continues, then says "com connect lost" again... no clue what the problem is bc when i do the aldl-full test it "passes"
