deleting egr?

deleting egr?

egr enable,min rpm set at 6375
egr enable max rpm set at 0


i still get the ses light, do i need to uncheck the egr electrical failure 27 flag also?

Assume you are a '94-'95 F-Body. The PCM expects to see +12 volts from ignition, through EGR solenoid back to the PCM when EGR is NOT commanded on, and 0 V when EGR commanded on. So if EGR solenoid, fuse, harness connector, etc are left intact then no need to remove the X for DTC 27. However if any of the circuit is physically opened or removed the +12v does not reach the PCM and you have to remove the X in the switch table to disable the DTC.
