DataMaster version 4 has been updated for compatibility with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Windows 98 & earlier are no longer supported. There are no functional changes in version 4 compared to prior versions.

IF YOU INSTALL VERSION 4 YOU WILL NEED A NEW AUTHORIZATION CODE.

DataMaster v4 may be co-installed along with earlier DataMaster versions without interference.

O.k. so I just got my cable and dowloaded datamaster. After a day of playing w/ software (making sure usb/serial emulator was correct) and downloading updated driver.So I guess Im looking for an older version of datamaster that will support windows xp ? I can not view any live data. But if I open C.A.T.S WIN flash I can pull my VIN from computer. So iI would think my problem is datamaster?

 

Details are old laptop running XP w/usb to obd I. Also car is 1994 obd I Z28.
