Code scanners

Anybody tried one of these code scanners?
Proscan
ScanTool

I'm looking for something the show codes and clear them for my '95 Z28.

Maybe I missed something but those looked like OBD2 scanning cables and software you need OBD1.

If you have a laptop and like to mod I think the better solution would be a cable from someone like AKM Cables and Datamater from TTS. The cable would be compatible with the pcm reflasinh software so many of us use and would allow you to get your tuning by email from madz28 or pcmforless. Datamaster logs and plays back engine and tranny data has the "dragstrip" and "dyno" features as well. It cost I think $90 without the cable but again the cable it does use is the same you need for reflashing and this is for your OBD1.

Looked at the Autocheckup site and they didn't list a OBD1 GM scanner.

The XP240 is the OBDI scan tool.
