A cheap 93 z link cable?

I have 2 datalogger cables with 3 wires on one end and a serial connection on the other, used for my mitsu.3000gt
can they be adapted to work with my 93z28.
i have looked at carputing.com and other sites, but they are not to clear.
Also is the dongle sold on those sites required to reprogram my pcm.

or should i just quit being a cheap ba$tard and buy the stupid things.
(later im trying to write an article on how cheap one can TT a z28)

93s are not flashable with a cable through the ALDL connector. They use a replaceable eprom (chip).

Check http://moates.net/. They make a cable but you can only datlog since you have a 93. If you want to reprogram will also need the chip burner, chip and the adapter.
