cant open .lt1 file

cant open .lt1 file

hey im new at this and dont know much about computers, i am in the process of getting lt1 edit.

i did the pcm read thing to create a .lt1 file and i saved it then sent it in email to carputing,

i wanted to open the file and i cant.it says it cant open it in adobe reader and is not a suported file, i dont know what to open the file with

a little help here

You need the program LT1 Edit, or there is a program out there that will convert it to a .BIN file to open that file in Tunercat. Either way, you will need to buy one of these programs to open the file, and then it will allow you full tuning capability yourself.

carputing also recieved my file and says the file looks good,

i guess you cant open a .lt1 file unless you have the software

Just pop it into your favorite hex editor.

I thought I was computer savvy(built many computers from ground up, and written a decent amount of program language), but didn't think of the hex editor, doh! I'm sure most others didn't either.
