Can't create a good File with Tunerpro

Hi

I have successfully read and wrote a stock bin to my 94 A4 Trans Am GT. but when i make the simpelist changes to the bin it wont work in the car. the check engine light flashes very fast until I write the stock one back to the car. Then everything is normal.

I am using the EEb.xdf file. The EE mask shows 0 for cylinder volume so I figured since EEb shows 717.25 it would be the one for me.

anyone know what could be up with the file i created

Do you pull the PCM fuse, wait 10 seconds or so, and re-insert the fuse after you flash the PCM? Not sure if it will help, but some guys have problems with flashes unless they do this.

By the way I don't think there is a Trans Am GT, just the Firebird Trans Am.

I tried pulling the battery for 5 min. I think that would have accomplished the same thing.

the Trans Am GT existed in the 94 Model year only. I didn't know if it made a difference but sometimes every detail helps.

Well I found out i need the upload AA the the mask ID byte instead of EE. that should disable the checksum.

Anybody know how to do that?
