Post Can you adjust injector size in Tunercat??

Where in Tunercat do you adjust them??

Just wanted to know because I have 24# SVO's that are running really rich I feel. Thanks.

Yes, change it in the 2 table from the top (ECM Constants). If you have stock fuel pressure (43>47) you may want to set it way high like 26.

Of course, ECM Constants table.

The offsets are also different with SVO injectors, closed loop operation should take care of you for the most part though.

Thanks guys. I am running stock FP and I know the SVO's are rated at 39 psi so I will adjust accordingly. Probably about 26#'s.

Dr Mudge, what do you mean the offsets are different with the SVO's?? I am completely new to programming and am trying to read a learn everything I can. Thanks for the help.

Open/close times are not the same, thats the offset.

But like Dr.Mudge stated, closed loop still has to calc the best 02 readings and to do that winds up adjusting flow amount for this difference anyway.

What exactly do the numbers in the chart mean? I am having trouble understanding what injector offset time vs count is.

Is there somewhere in Tunercat or LT1 edit to adjust for the different offsets?? Also, what is the differnece between high and low impedance injectors and is that an issue with the SVO's??

Again, thank very much I am learning quite a bit.

Best way to learn all this is to search the boards. I search the lt1-edit mailing list archives found off the lt1-edit board. The top of the chart is volts and the bottom is the offset. I know there is a chart somewhere in TC you can find that has that for input.

Our pcms run high impedence injectors only. You can find injectors up to 50# that are high. Want anything for the larger low impedence injectors and you either have to change to dfi (or something) or buy a impedence matching box which is like $350.

Open and close times in milliseconds, versus voltage.
