Can LT1 Edit Program Out A Traction Control Code?

Can LT1 Edit Program Out A Traction Control Code?
Okay, here's the question. If I use a non Traction Control rear axle assembly, (i.e. w/o a speed sensor ring in the differential), in a car designed for Traction Control, will it set a PCM or BCM error code??? And, if it will set a code, can it be programmed out of a OBDI PCM with LT1 Edit???
