Just like subject says, can a 96-97 ECM be reprogrammed with a 95 OBD-1 Tune?

 

No, you need an OBD-I computer like what comes in 94-95s. BTW, it is a PCM not ECM.

 

At one time PCM 4 less was swapping them out for a fee - Don't know if they still are.

 

PCM ECM ECU basically all the same. No one seems to ever call them by PCM which in reality your right that's what it is because the LT1 PCM controls the Engine & Transmission but like I said everyone seems to refer to them by ECM so I didn't wanna post up asking about the PCM and get a buncha retard replies with people asking WTF a PCM is
