would this cable work for programing with tunner cat and datamaster loging .

Yes, IF you are running an OBD1 computer. If this is for a 1996 Impala SS with the stock computer, this will not work, as it has an OBD2 computer.

thanks man , no i bought an obd1 pcm. now to convert to obd1 ,if i dont want to install the resistor, all i have to do is replace the knock sensors rigth ?
