You might try to open the throttle blades a little with the adjusting scew, then reset the computer.

You might want to try Datamaster, there's a free trial for a certain amount of days, if the IAC is maxed in either direction at idle than that's likely your problem, adjusting the throttle blades to get this working is usually all you have to do.

Also, Without the IAC port on the TB connecting to the matching IAC ports on the intake then everything will harder to adjust since the point of the Idle Air circuit is to use exactly that, the Idle air circuit which consists of small ports in the intake that run from the TB to each intake port. The IAC motor is suppose to control this airflow, without it connected the IAC motor is only metering air into the main intake area, not the IAC passages.

It might only help a little bit, but every little bit helps.
