Check the airbag sensor, I believe there is one right behind the hood latch, maybe it's damage from the impact.

If it is, then it wasn't a "CURB" she hit LOL...

Yeah, what he said. Dude that sucks man. The only thing I know about airbags is they don't use sensors in the bumper. They have an accelerometer that measures the rate of deceleration, and deploy based on that. I think that sensor is behind the glove box, and of course the brains is under the console.

Yeah there is an airbag module on the passenger side under the glove box, I belive once the airbag is deployed that thing has to be reset or replaced or something.

A rule to live by. My wife wants no parts of my car. She says it's too loud and too bumpy a ride plus, with a manually-shifted TH400, I think she'd probably mess something up if she did.

RE:Curbed!

How bad is the damge to the front end?
A few years back when i first got my '94Z Fall of '98. My now ex chick slammed it into a guard rail on a rainy night. Despite tearing half the bumber off and cracking the rest. No airbags where deployed and the car was stuck in the gaurd rail. After I got in and backed it off the rail. A piece of fiberglass was still stuck into the rail. Just curious as to how bad the damage was, kind of makes since if it was or is acceleration sensor factor to which determines whether airbags deploy or not? We hit hard!
Ted Hunter the moderator on drag racinig is getting notice or whatever from DOT to remove his airbags! I don't know if that's something you would want to look at or not. Talk to him if your intersted. Good luck man.
