AutoTap Sample Rate
Alright being that no one knew the answer, here are some facts I found out in a recent e-mail:
-Most GM and Ford vehicles = 30-35 updates per second
-The "export to comma delimited" turns the log file into a .csv to use in a spreadsheet. The .csv file will also provide a timestamp for each parameter update
-The VIN is automatically read on GM, but for Ford or imports, the VIN has to manually be entered.
-V 3.1 improvements over v 3.0 are better error handling capabilities
The one thing he did not answer is if AutoTap reads the datastream under WOT. It seems that I couldn't the 4 times I tried.
Also, I am still not sure what is the limiting factor in sampling. If I have almost every parameter monitoring, is the sample rate slow because of the software or hardware?
