Atten. MAD WOLF I need help with tuner cat
I need help on setting my part throttle a/f ratio. I did a record with datamaster and it showed my Long term blms were running rich. Now do I mess with the MAF calibration to get the 128blm? Because thats what I did. I got a 128blm average from idle to approx. 3500rpm. I didn't bother going higher than that. Should I? Are the full throttle A/F ratios based off the part throttle readings. In other words, does the computer use the 128blm numbers to base the increase of fuel for WOT? If not how do I get the A/F right at WOT?
I heard to set the closed tps timing to the degrees that gets the highest MAP pressure. I did just that and found that 9.5 degrees gave me the highest MAP reading at a 625rpm idle. Is this the correct way to obtain optimal timing at idle? If so doesn't that sound slightly low?
Im also getting spark knock about 4000rpm I set the timing as low as 31 dregrees total and still got knock. Is it possible I'm getting false knock? I disabled the sensor and set the timing at 37 degrees at 5800rpm and a total at 40 degrees and 6200rpm and it seemed to run stronger.
Please give me some advice I don't want to blow my engine.
