Exclamation Anyone w/ .bin or .lt1 files inside please! :)

Ok, at work we now have a useless server just taking up space. (w/ 6 18 gig drives in it) What I would like to do is get people to email me their bin & lt1 files with a discription of what they have (ie stock; or if modded, list of mods) I could build a basic website and host the files on it. *NOTE* I'm just finding out what interest there is for this, plesae don't email the files to the addy I have here! I'll post another email addy to send them to once I see what kind of interest there is in this and what I can do w/ our old server. If you are interested in this, please respond here or to my email w/o the files

Thanks!

Pretty much, indefinitely I hate finding sites that are supposed to have .bin and .lt1 files only to find that they don't exist anymore! Thats why I want to create this site

Very interested!!! I have Bin trying to find a stock .bin for a 95 A4 3.23 for a long time. But everyone I get doesn't have that gearing. I think we need a site that will be up for a while.

Gears are a simple change, no reason to have to download someone elses file with a simple gear change.

You don't have to find BINs, you can use LT1 files also with Tunercat, it will read both file types, you can resave it as a BIN if you like.

Most of the common stuff is at Brent Frankers site, which I posted about a week ago in this forum.

Actually, having a complete set of trans tables after a gear change are very nice to have. Here is an example: Joe has 2.73 gears so his shift points are at somewhat high speed. Joe installs his brand new 3.73 gears and now it only shifts when it hits the rpm limit instead of speed. It is also nice to be able to just import someone elses shift tables.

Didn't think about that until after, doh. Seems like TB and gears goof up your shift tables, glad to row the boat here!

Can't wait to have a look at all the files!

I have made many changes to my stock program. How do you want the changes listed? do you want them in bullet form? Do you want a description on why we made the change? Do you want performance reviews of our changes (if performance related)?

Take a look at http://tuner.live4speed.com/

I built this live database and another member here was administering it and checking validity but for some reason he stopped...

Anyway I put numerous hours into getting this up and running and I'm willing to keep it up if it'll be of use. Everything is completely dynamic, supports user-uploads and remote administration as well as an in-depth search feature I havent yet implemented on the site.

I am still here Dave, just been slammed busy lately. I stop by from time to time to check on the status of the stuff. I just need to get my crap together and get back on track.
