Anyone Know if a Snap-On OBD-I connector will work with Cable???
I got an OBD-I connector for use with a Snap-On Diagnostic scanner, it's labeled GM3 - ABS...
I havn't gotten my laptop yet so I was wondering if this connector would work? I already got the cable for the com port.
I'm pretty sure it should work since it's designed for communicating with GM OBD-I PCMs. The Snap-On scanner is primarily a read-only tool, but I have a 93 so I can't flash my PCM through the OBD-I port anyhow...Any thoughts would be appreciated.

No, it will not work. You will need a converter box besides the connector and I'm sure the other end of the snap-on won't work with Andrew's box. You should contact him directly to see if he may be able to build you a box for your cable to cut the price some.
