Question Any Potential Computer Swap Problems Here?

Here is the situation. My brother is in the middle of doing an 1994 LT1 implant into an 1989 IROC. The car will start, but won't run unless under wide open throttle, and even then it runs ruff. He thinks it might be the computer (PCM). What he wants to do is swap computers with mine and see if my car (1995) will run on his computer. Trying process of elemination to figure out his problem. If my car runs, he knows the computer is good and can move on to something else.

My question is, what are the potential problems that could result on my car if we hook his computer up and the cumputer is messed up? Can it in any way do damage to my car?

No, I'm pretty sure he did the VATS bypass thing. That was the only thing I thought might hold us out. Other than that, any damage to already working parts?
