Airbag module reprogramming

Ok, I have a 2000 SS and I bought it in salvage condition. I have made all the reapairs including replcing the SDM or airbag module. GM wanted $270 for this part so I got a used one from another f-body. I bring the module back to the dealership to learn that they will not reprogram it because it does not belong to the car and is not brand new. I'm glad they told me this before I went to go get one (payed $55 for it)

Anyway, does anyone know who can reprogram this, or what i can do to avoid buying a brand new unit? I have already stopped at a gas station shop, and they said they could not fully reprogram it and that the dealership had to.

So now I'm stuck, I will try more dealerships and gas stations, maybe i'll get lucky. Any ideas?

I found out today that it is impossible to reprogram a module from another car. The only option is purchasing a brand new module. Fortunatly the guy i was working with helped me out a lot and said he would purchase one for me with his discount! and put it in/program it for no charge! The unit is still gonna cost me $210, but without him I would have paid about $380 for the module and install.
