So every time my ac pump kicks on my torque converter unlocks. What in the heck would cause this??

 

Could this just be your perseption? Like since you turn the AC on you loose some power and to maintain the same speed you give it more gas, ie unlocking the TC because it locks and unlocks according to speed and the ammount of throttle you are giving it...

 

Your TC is connected to your brakes......but i don't know about the A/C. I would say not. Like prev post said, maybe just perception?

Nope...Not perception. Cruising along on the freeway...Flat, level ground. Turn the ac on and it unlocks the tc. Turn the ac off and it locks back up. Every time it cycles it unlocks.....Wierd..........
