Actual "tune" from a HPP?

Ok, I know that the real way to go is with a PCM Exchange....I would rather spend that money once I have some H/C upgrades.....

So with that out of the way.

Does anybody know what the actual "tune" is on the Hypertech Power Prgrammer Plus for a 96 Z28?? I happened to pick up an unlocked unit for next to nothing. (half the price of a tank of gas) so I figured I'd give it a shot. I know what I know from reading info off the HPP site, but what I really want to know is what kind of tune am I looking at as far as Fuel Ratio Tables go??

Does anyone know what "program/tune" it will actually put into my car??

My car is pretty stock save for bolt on exhaust/intake/free mods/crap...

Thanks guys,
Ivan

I don't know about the 96, but my 94 Z28 always ran really rich with the hypertech tune. My spark plugs was always very black indicating that it was running rich. I never could tell any power gains with it, but I did like the tuning for the cooler T-stat which also turns the fans on at a lower temp. Oh and you can't forget the speed limiter. I have since switched to a PCMFORLESS tune which is well worth the money, and not only that you can tell a difference.
