97 keyfob w/ 94 TA???

I got a key fob from a 97 camaro. I tried to program it using the dlc, the locks cycle when I jump it, but no response from the key fob. Is it compatible?

Will not work. It must be the same style fob and must also have the same 8 digit part number on the backside to be compatible.
