94' PCM Rev B vs C : FAQ

I asked this briefly in another thread, but..I wanted to isolate this question for SEO..
To set the stage. I recently discovered I have a 94' PCM Rev B..but I can't find any information about it, except a brief mention on tuner cats FAQ on how to tell if you have Rev B or C.

1) What is the difference between 94 PCM Rev B & 94 PCM Rev C
2) Can you updated a PCM Rev B program with a PCM Rev C? (via tuner cat), or will it read the settings incorrectly (ie is Rev B / C a hard coded thing in the PCM, or flashable?)

(any other questions & info about the Rev B vs Rev C?)

2) Any 94-95 LT1 code will work in any 94-95 LT1 PCM.

1) Assuming the Rev B-Rev C you refer to is the $EE vs $EEb thing, it appears to simply be a rearrangement of memory locations, at least based on what TunerCat exposes.

The rev is flashable, if you can find a higher rev .bin file that matches your car you can load it to your PCM. By the way rev 'E' is the latest it supports modulated TCC solenoid for '95's and will work with the old switched TCC solenoid in a '94. Here's a forum to request files " http://www.monodax.com/forums/tunercat-file-request/ " OR look here and you may find something that works " http://www.monodax.com/forums/tunercat-files/ " ... Great Info! Thank you for the response. So just to clarify. I do not want to stick with the RevB version? I should try to locate a Rev-E? (yes it is the $EEb thing)

brahm, yes locate a .bin at rev 'E' (assuming it's close to your setup) and load (flash) it.
