94-95 LT1 auto PCMs programmed the same?

This for a 95z I am getting back together..I have read that the 4l60E transmissions changed between 1994 and 95 models, does that mean that the factory PCMs are programmed differently from the factory? I understand that I can have a 94 PCM reprogrammed, but for plug and play operation do I need to stay with a 95 PCM to run the 95 LT1 4l60E? Can anyone explain what changed in the transmission those years?

94 is on/off tcc apply
95 is pwm tcc apply(pulse width modulated)

if you have a 95 trans you need a 95 tune in your pcm,

the pcm is the same for 94-95 the only thing different is the program in the pcm

wait a minute - the program may be the only thing different within the PCM to trans - but the Hypertech programmers I've had were year specific to f-body (94, 95, 96 each seperate) but Corvette was the 94/95 same programmer.
I don't believe you can do this with a handheld.
You may have to utilize pcmforless.com to burn your program matched to the trans -
I'd research a little more.
For this reason my trans builder suggests always using the trans original to the car/PCM or at least the same year.

Of course - I could be all wrong and just slap the trans in and it will work -

thanks..because of the differences I am going to stick with finding a 95 parts car to fix mine, too many small differences to make it worth switching everything over.

Just to add....Flashed a 95 stock bin into my 94 A4 and it would not shift 1-2 at WOT. All else seemed fine though. Uploaded a 94 Bin and it fixed it.
