94/95 .bin file work in a 96/97 pcm?

I'm using tunercat and i have both the definition files for the 94/95 lt1 and the 96/97 lt1 obdII pcms. I was wanting to make sure that it would work if i downloaded a .bin file for the 94/95 and used it in the 96/97?? All i really need is the tranny tables shift points and gear calibration....so should i copy it from the 94 and paste it in the table for the 96/97? thanks

Chad, it will not work. Don't try it, and I doubt that the system would even allow you to attempt to load it. Look at the file sizes, there is a big difference between the OBD1 and OBD2 file size.
