quick run down..'95 v-6 to v-8 conversion..'95 pcm..'95 harness..using '94 4L60E..
I have this dtc and no 4th gear.."dtc 83 = tcc control feedback fault (ODM)"

what little I have found and help from my buddy at TCI is that the 94 doesn't have pwm or the solenoid for it on the tcc control and the 95 does..
I have LT1 Edit..
Kevin at TCI sent me a link to the Tuner Cat site where someone had said to simply turn off "slip" in the trans section..
is it as simple as this..?

IDK, but I bet everything would be ok if you flashed a 94 auto tune into the PCM.

actually, I'm working on that right now..just not sure what this old program actually is..
says ProHotCam1994...but it's in an old folder from way back when ...
and I can't verify it's creator..
I just loaded it in ..to pull it out so I can go through and change what I
know for sure needs changed..
hope I don't overlook something just in case it was one of those
"purposely butchered" files I remember were floating around out there..
keepin' my fingers crossed..

 

the '94 cal worked..Ken Kelley also suggested doing that..
I copied all the tables over from my really good 95 cal with similar mods..
that took awhile..!..
tcc and 4th gear are fine..no DTC's
thing runs and drives great!
