93 Corvette LT1 MAP Problems...

A rebuilt 1993 LT1 in a Corvette with an aggressive cam runs rich at idle and seems to run very rough... but when the MAP sensor is unplugged the car goes back to an awesome idle with no rich idle... have not tried driving car like this and did try replacing map sensor with new one with no change in rough idle... anyone know if you can drive with MAP sensor unhooked? If not does anyone know of a shop around Columbus Ohio that could modify the computer?

Thanks for the help!

With an aggressive cam, it's going to need a tune to run right. Unplugging the MAP would make the computer use default values instead of MAP readings. That's not a real good way to test a sensor.
