Re: 93 camaro supercharger program

I use to be in the same boat, but I moved to N20.

Basically, get your self an ignition system that will retard the timing based on boost and you'll be fine. There is not a whole lot you can do, in regards to supercharger tuning with the stock CPU. You can change the basics like Fuel injectors, timing, fans, but nothing really significant to supercharges.

This is because the stock system doesn't understand anything above atmosphic pressure. If you want to go all out you can replace the computer with an after market system, but that’s a nice chunk of change.

IMO Just watch your A/F ratios and get an ignition system that retards based on boost.

Good Luck,

Dennis

If theres a will theres a way.

I use a 2 bar map sensor in my vortech T-Trim 93 LT1.

It retards timing per boost and delievers fuel per boost per RPM.

Alvin,

So you've been able to burn a chip that understands boost?

Makes me wish I still had my supercharger.

Yeah, i've had it running for over a year now.

Its really cool but really twitchy and theres a bunch of quirks mainly with cold start stuff. Once you get it tuned in theres no worry of FMU or BTM failure.
