88 IROC ECM question

I have a factory 305 car with a 355 transplanted with the proper stuff but I'm not sure about the ECM and the chip. I've been toldd both share the same ECM but a diff chip between the 305 & 350 cars. Currently I have the ECM with a hypertech prom for the 305 with for cars with a cooler thermostat in it. Everything works fine and runs great and no codes and sets codes properly. What I'm asking is if there is a diff prom I should be running along with the ECM. I was thinking of getting new chip burned from FAST or someone else reputable but after I get my nitrous setup. I'm thinking though right now, that this ECM and chip setup is holding the car back and creating a wall for its true potential. At the track with street tires I was able to get a best of 14.0 @ 105mph and still getting sideways when applying full throttle at mid track. I am still a very amateur drag racer and the track surface where we race is not the best facility at all, I notice this with all cars running there. Anyway with that time and MPH I will list the mods to try and give an idea of the whole situation.
