2nd ECU fired!!!! Whats going on??

I'm using tuner-cats to do the tuning.
ALDU1 USB-to-ALDL Converter
CABL1 OBD1-Style ALDL Connector
moates stuff

I have fired 2 ECU's because I got a "cable failure" code each time.

The first time I got it, I bought a new ecu and then programed it and everything when fine. I did the same thing both times.

Then I got some different stuff done to the car so i when to change the program again.

And i got the same code "cable failure" and the 2nd ECU is fried.

What is the deal? Is there a problem with the cable?

Did you try removing power from the ECU after the programming failure? I've experienced a similar problem a couple of times when using TunerCAT, I was able to get the ECU working again by pulling the fuses to the ECU, waiting 10 minutes and plugging them back in.
