I've heard it doesn't do anything and it's not worth it.

 

It's probably a $.03 resistor that tells the PCM (or ECM) that the incoming air is a certain temp (say 55 Deg F) so the computer is "tricked" into increasing the timing by 1 or 2 degrees. I'll try to look up the value of the resistor for a certain temp if you want. It's one of those "free" mods.. the guy on ebay is being pretty dishonest selling that.
