If I may recommend this guy for the spacers. [skulte@eagle.he.net] he did right by me but I cant remember his company name.
I made extentions out of threaded rod and kept adding washers until I determined how wide of spacer I needed.

Yes...Yes you can!
Yes, it's quite possible. I've got them on my 67 and I think they're great!
You'll need the 2" adapters out back and 1.5" adapters in front, as others have already pointed out. Not cheap, but the results are well worth it.

Yessir you can I have done it with 17x11's out back and 17x9.5's out in front.
