Unhappy Wheels spacing 1969

Can anyone help. I have a 1969 Firebird. I have Hotchkis rear and front springs to lower the car 2" in the front and 1-1/2" in the rear. Now I have a question I want to put 17 X 9.5 torq thrust II wheels in the back. Doesn't anyone already have these on there car. I was thinking of using a 6.5 back spacing. Please help.

I responded to your e-mail, but for the benefit of others a 6.5" b.s. won't work with a stock width rear end; it will hit the inner wheelwell. 5.5" is perfect for that size wheel.
