Grab a copy of the Feb 2003 Chevy High Performance mag. There's a feature article on it pg. 22. Of course it was also the 55 in Grafitti.

Build a clone.

Thanks for the heads up- I will take a look for that mag. Only problem-if I wanted to build a car like that I'd have to part with my SS.

Wink

Yeah, the COPO's are cool cars................I saw a special on "Speed Vision" about the '69 COPO's.....................an all-aluminum 427 in a completely dressed-down car........boy, guys with Z/28's, SS's, and 'Stang's must have been pi$$ed when a car that looked like it probably had an inline-6 beat them!! I'd have to say I'd like a nice '69 as well!! (a '69 Camaro that is ).

hey

I had a 70 Chevelle SS. A true SS, original 396SS, but I had a 427 and a four speed in it. It was a Balck and Sweet. A beautiful car and I got laid in the back seat of that car more than any other car I had.

I think I'm gonna cry now.

They had one they gave away in a contest a few years back. Would have love to win it, get in it and leave two long black patches on the asphalt as I left. Everyone would freak.
yea, the 69 ZL1, the Jon Mos ZL1 and the Shelby Cobra 427 these two cars
