What's your 350-400 CID carb size?

I'm trying to get a feel for what everybody else is using. Please state your engine size/max rpm/carb size and if you know, what's your ET and MPH.

Thanks!

406 Ci, 600 cfm, 5500 redline about.........A perfect example of what NOT to use....... If I hadn't wasted so much $ on this car, I would buy another carb, a 750 cfm Qjet, but I give up.

413" small block, 750 Holley vac. secondary. It's what you should be running on that 383.

770 holley street avenger
BEST CARB I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH!

not only did this carb work great, but it fixed half the problems i was having! good idle, shuts off when key is turned (i used to have to pull the coil to turn it off-----YEOWCH! #*@U$!!!!!) and its real easy to tune.

i would suggest the street avenger for anyone.

I use a Holley 670 street avenger on a 355 325 hp this really is a great carb, and I just bolted it on and it was set really close out of the box.

i got a 355 pushin about 375 hp flywheel

the 65 jets were too lean for me.

406sbc, RPM intake, XE274 cam, ported 2.02 double humps, Holley 750 vac. sec. carb (O-3310), redlines around 5500rpms. In a '79 Trans Am, 2400 stall, 3.42 posi. Fresh motor, so no ET yet. I ran a Holley 600 for a little while, and it ran well but it didn't feed her enough at higher RPM's.

I've been running 800CFM QJets on just about everything for the last 17 years or so. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of carburetors- not much it can't do. I'll put my QJet up against ANY vacuum secondary carb on the market.

Caveat: you have to know what you're doing with it as far as tuning and setup. NONE of them come out of the box performing like a champ. I don't recommend them for the first-timer. You can get all screwed up pretty quick trying to tune them like they are a Holley.
