There's quite a bit that would need to be changed. (Everything from pedals to driveshaft) If you want a kit to do the whole thing (or just part of the kit), check this out:

Those guys make a reto-fitted T56 for our 1st gens. They're pricey, but all the work is done already except for the crossmember and hole in the floor
