what temp dose your car run at
my 327 with 9.6/1 compression
3 row rad and clutch fan seems to run
hot 200 or 210 on the highway
I am going to run a tranny cooler
for the 3500 stall im thinking that is where my
extra heat is comming from

 

200-210 is a bit warm on the highway, i'd check your timing and coolant level, and check for air bubbles in the intake first.

i run 180 all day in traffic with a 11:1 350

 

depenmds what temp tstat he is running, 200-210 would be right for a 190-195* tstat

 

Is your fan shroud still intact?

Did you check to see if your clutch fan is still working properly?

Mine fluctuates between 175 ~ 190 from highway driving to traffic.
