What was the stock 15 inch tire size?

Local tire shop should be able to tell you.
According to tireack.com they came w/a 195/75-14. which is 25.5" in diameter.
Here is the 15" tire in that diameter. 205/65TR15
A bit on the small and skinny side for my taste, and it doesn't sound right. I'll see what else I can dig up.

In 1968 SS Camaros got F70x14 RL standard, but 7.35x14 WS was optional.
Z/28 was the only model that came with 15-inch wheels. E70x15 RL was the standard tire size.

My fronts are....
195/60-15 = 24.212598425196852
So,
195/75-14 = 25.515748031496063
or
205/65TR15 = 25.49212598425197
will give me quite a bit more fill in the well.
My rears are a little tall... 255/60-15 = 27.04724409448819
What the hell were they thinking when the seller put these on? They look cool though.

How do I translate that into what the proper tire height should be on 15 inch wheels?
