What model serpentine pulleys to conver 69 camaro?

I am having a heck of a time keeping my alt belt on. I have repositioned it till I am blue in the face. I hear you can get serpentine pulleys off mid 80's trucks and convert Vbelt to serpentine. Any one done this? I don't have AC, but I do have power steering that runs on a seperate groove. Not sure how to address that either. TIA.

I bought the whole serpentine system off an old 89 Camaro for a hundred bucks and it works great. One belt does it all now and it hasn't failed even after 30-something drag race runs, several dozen autocross runs, lots of 6700 RPM operation, and more. I had to switch to the donor car's CS alternator (which I had rebuilt), and I had to use the donor car's power steering pump. I also needed to switch to a reverse rotation waterpump. I like it very much: Better than any V-belt.

I think its a good swap and you can paint or power coat brackets to make it look better. you can pick up the Serpentine belt setup with the accessorys off ebay for $100 to $150 and thats with the a/c pump p/s pump alt ect. well all the accessorys. you can a Belt Tensioner to et rid of a a/c pump or what ever.

heres one for $50

ON OLDER MOTORS YOU HAVE TO TAP AND PLUG A SMALL HOLE ON THE PASSANGER SIDE OF THE WATER PUMP PORT THE NEWER WATER PUMP DOES NOT USE OR COVER THAT HOLE you can see in the picture what the style of the front of a motor this came off

heres the gm setup i'm talkin about, as said it can come off a 4.3 v6 or 5.0 v8 or 5.7 v8

the first pic is a vortec SBC/4.3(96+), the second is a pre 95

as long as the waterpump and brackets are off a pre 95 emgine, there is no need to plug that hole, but if you use the stuff off a vortec sbc(96-2000) or 4.3(96-current) you will need to plug it

I think if you get the brackets off a vortec, you can use a 88-95 SBC waterpump (rev. rotation, ask for one for a 90 camaro 5.7))without issues, and the hole you pointed out is used
