Should the Vette even be considered a muscle car?

IMO, out of that list I really only consider the GTO & Charger true muscle cars.

I believe those cars do not really belong in the same category, and the Corvette truly isn't a "Muscle Car".

I think this tendency some have to classify every American car with a big engine as a "muscle car" is somehow annoying. I personnaly wouldn't even call the Mustang and the Camaro "muscle cars". They're, technicaly, pony cars. Yes, there's a difference. Yes, we could argue over this for hours.

But my point is, in the proposed choices, I would say the GTO, and maybe the Charger, appear as the only muscle cars. The Corvette is a sports car. An American sports car, but being American does not automaticaly make it a muscle car.

So my vote went for the GTO, and I do not think that the fact the Camaro is last is an insult or an underrating. It is like asking what is the best truck between a Hummer and a Lexus -- they clearly do not fit in the same category, and the vote will not be representative of anything.

Let's blame TLC for that

im confused as to how a mustang is a muscle car, its a pony car always was always will be... Gto and Charger are the only 2 on that list that even fit the category... but of course Mustang is ahead of the gto
