update!! retro fit roller in327.

i posted a while back about converting my 327 to the retro fit roller set up. i went with a moderate roller set up (292. 540 with .1.6 rollers). i opted for the trick flow twisted wedge heads that were milled to 54cc bringing my compression to 11.2 and a victor jr intake, along with all the goodies (msd 6al, 650 dp yada yada) . let me tell you guys what a difference this combo made with my car. i have it in a 3rd gen with a 4spd and 3:73 rear and a the mufflex 4 inch exhaust. the car originally went 12.88 at 109.03 , and now went a 11.34 at almost 125 mph!!!! i absolutely love these trick flow's and the roller set up. if you are thinking about doing the retro coneversion, DO IT.... once i get the car dialed in better i will give some more numbers..

NICE times....... I also run the TFS heads on my 78. Great heads in my opinion.

109 to 125 MPH???? Seriously?

I am a fan of the Trick Flow twisted wedge heads. I think they are every bit as good as an equivalent set of AFRs.

But it sounds like you changed more than just the cam to get this much improvement. It sounds like a totally different engine from the cam up. Cam, heads, intake, etc, etc. I've never seen a bolt-in cam change alone make that much difference.
