tubbing halfback system.

should i go with a ladder suspension or a 4 link???

just wondering whats best. im thinking of tubbing my next car. 81z. i can get a premade rear frame w/ carrier w/ ladder or 4 link, for 999usd just need the labor and all the other goodies like axle and gears and all thats other crap. what would be the bestway to go?

i have heard that u can spend from 3k to 10k on something like this. i don't want the hardcore racing crap... im shotin for the basic street use but i want something that won't brake on my with 500hp at the track

Well, leaf springs, traction bars, and 10.5" slicks will take you into the low 10s pretty easy and can deal with 500+hp. However if you got a bunch of money to burn the 4link is MUCH better than a ladder bar for your application. Ladder bars are strip only IMO. Are you trying to run 15" wide tires?
