Transmittion Fluid Leakage

I have a 67 RS, I have had it for about six years now and it runs well. Just recently it started to leak transmittion fluid. I moved the dipstick a little and it just started to leak when i moved it. I can put it into place and it won't leak for a few days but then it will act up and leak again. Any suggestions?

Re: Transmittion Fluid Leakage

first, it is "transmission"

and there is a seal/grommet where the dipstick tube goes into the trans case, probably just needs a new one

hardest part in replacing it is you have to pull the tube out of the trans.....
