Transmission Mount
Re: Transmission Mount
The biscuit won't be the problem. It's the location of the crossmember that will. If I recall correctly the 700R-4 will require the location of the crossmember to be several inches further back than a TH-350 automatic like used in many cars of that vintage.
You need someone smarter and more experienced than me to give you the real details. This is a swap I have never done before.

Re: Transmission Mount
I might be wrong on this, but I *think* that a TH350 and 700-R4 (or 4L60E) share the same cross-member/mounting position
. A TH400 mounts in a different location though, and would definitely need a different cross-member (or some serious modifications done to the stock one) to make it work. As far as the transmission mount itself, I'm sure the Energy Suspension poly mount would work for any tranny you put in (they're pretty much universal to most F-bodies).
Good luck with your swap

Re: Transmission Mount
the TH350 and 700R4 have the same mounting position. the TH350 utilizes two bolts whereas the 700R4 uses one single stud instead. so drilling some holes maybe necessary, but overall should be an easy swap.
Re: Transmission Mount
The 700R4 swap would require the crossmember to be further back than a TH350. Either slide it back if possible or fab a new crossmember. I believe Bowtie Overdrives has one fabbed up for the first gen Camaros.
The 2004R is the trans that uses a factory TH400 crossmember.
