Supercharger or Turbo?

Me and my dad finally made up our mind on the camaro engine were goign to upgrade it with the edelbrock performance package(Performer RPM E-Tec Power Package 435 HP 435ft/lbs) now we are starting to look at the superchargers and turbos. Ive read up on these things but i really dont know which is better supercharger i know are belt driven and turbos use the exhaust but give me your opinion whats suitable. BTW i dont want it to sound like a ricer lol.

how is the bottom end, forged i hope? dished pistons?ow upset is your trans, gears, axles, driveshaft going to be when you throw a forced induction setup on it?its just not going to work with stock pistons rods crank, ect.that is, unless you want to keep the boost real, real low.i dont see any point in throwing an expensive 'charger on it if you can only gain 50 hp without shooting the rods out the side of the block.
this is what you nesd to make sure works perfectly before even looking at so much as a camshaft.
1.brakes and suspension.i.e.,disks for the back and good shocks, poly bushings ect
2.drivetrain. trans, driveshaft, axles, gears, new bearings in the rear ect.
3 then you can look into the motor.start at the bottom and work your way up.crank, rods, dished pistons, and some real heads.etec arnt the best for the money.iron dart 2 sportsmans or pro action, anything with 200 maybe 220 cc intake ports.a team g or victor intake and a carb that will accualy work with a blow through design like a holly.if you want a roots style blower then why wast your mony on a intake that wont work?you kinda have to decide what you want to do before buying the parts or youll be buying and building it twice or maybe even three times if your as hard headed as me.

I would recommend a centrifugal, type, blower. More kits, realitively easy install, no excessive heat, no lag, no hood mods.
