No, will not fit. It needs to be 4" narrower according to Kyle to be safe as the leaf springs are offset about that much towards the tank (2" per side) with their kit.

We both have one. Mine is installed but I haven't modded the seat yet. Scott (Xcyz) is in the process of starting his install. You will need to cut a few inches out of the center of the seat frame and re-weld it back together. Pretty simple really. Most of the guys have an upholsterer mod the factory seat cover to work, or you could go with custom upholstery.

camcojb, thanks. how difficult was the instal? it doesnt look too difficult but you never know. how much does this throw off the exhaust routing?

It's more time consuming than difficult. I started mine then turned it over to a chassis shop who was doing a cage for me to also do the mini-tub. I was in the middle of trying to finish up a friends 69 Camaro. According to the shop it was pretty straightforward, with the shock crossmember being the trickiest part for them. Kyle has a video now that goes through step by step of the install; I'd get ahold of that and decide if you have the tools and patience to do it. I'd say most mechanically oriented people can get through it without major issues. If you get stuck there's nobody more helpful than the folks at DSE, they're awesome people.

You can still get an exhaust system run to the back of the car with the mini-tub. Might take a little modifying on the pre-bent units like Torque Tech where they go around the tire, but overall shouldn't be a big issue.

Xcyz's site also has some good pics of the install in Stuart Adams car and there's a few of mine (Jody Bernard). You should look around his site just for the cars! Here's his link:

Jody, I'm working on that custom interior. I talked to them about the seats, and they're still prototyping. They're after me for a new website, and I'm after them for the new design seats. I'll keep you posted.

Stay on them Scott! That will be cool and different, and we both like that!
